San Jacinto College - Education, Equity & Excellence (E3)

The San Jacinto College Department of Education, Equity & Excellence (E3) emphasizes the promotion of knowledge of various cultures and backgrounds amongst the SJC community. E3 offers scholarships to students to foster this knowledge, support student success, and facilitate the transition to college. Scholarship requirements are the following: recipients are required to enroll in at least six credit hours per semester, maintain satisfactory attendance in classes, and meet with a Resource Specialist in the iConnect Center once during the first four weeks and once during the last four weeks of the semester. The scholarship will be awarded based on a full academic year. To remain in good standing and continue receiving scholarship funding, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress with a minimum GPA of 2.5 each semester and attend a minimum of two E3 events per semester.
