Chevron-CPET Scholarship

The Chevron-CPET Scholarship is open to students pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Process Technology or Instrumentation Technology at San Jacinto College. The scholarship award is $5,000. Scholarships funds are to be distributed over recipients’ total program length.

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant must be a US citizen or authorized to work on a full-time basis in the United States.
• Must be majoring in one of the following programs at San Jacinto College: Process Technology or Instrumentation Technology
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must enroll in a minimum of six (6) credit hours.
• The following interaction is a consideration for this scholarship: Process Technology Club participation and leadership; ISA Ship Channel Chapter participation and leadership, and Community Service.

Students receiving this scholarship must maintain the following academic performance standards to remain eligible to receive the scholarship each semester following the initial award:

• The student must enroll in a minimum of 6 hours per semester.
• Maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
