The Herbert “Herb” Hildebrand Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship supports San Jacinto College students who are committed to advancing their careers through additional education and workforce credentials. Scholarships are awarded annually, based on available funding, and recipients are selected according to the Foundation’s established guidelines.

Funding is available to students pursuing:

  • A certification
  • Institutional Credentials Leading to Licensure or Certification (ICLC)
  • Occupational Skills Award (OSA)
  • Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate
  • Associate degree

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours, or meet part-time status as defined by their program
  • Be at least 20 years of age
  • Be the head of household (primary financial responsibility for the household)
  • Be employed full-time (35+ hours per week)
