LyondellBasell Scholars

LyondellBasell is committed to educating, training, and preparing the next generation of industry leaders, particularly in the petrochemical and related sectors. The LyondellBasell Scholars Program supports students enrolled in San Jacinto College’s Petrochemical, Energy, and Technology (CPET) programs.

Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition and textbooks, with any remaining balance eligible to roll over to subsequent terms. Additional funds may also be used for required course materials.

Eligibility Requirements

• Preferred Major: Process Technology
• Alternative Programs for Consideration: Instrumentation, Electrical Technology
• Minimum GPA Requirement: 3.0
• Enrollment Requirement: Minimum of six (6) credit hours
• Academic Progress: Completion of at least one (1) semester
