Katha and Clifton Black Endowed Scholarship for BSN Program

This scholarship was established in memory of Mrs. Katha Nan Black, who was a wonderfully caring, and compassionate nurse. Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in the SJC Bachelor of Science Nursing (RN-to-BSN) Degree Program.

Eligibility Requirements

• Major: Student(s) must be admitted into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program (RN-to-BSN)
• Enrollment: Minimum six (6) semesters hours (or less if necessary to move forward in the RN-BSN program of study)
• GPA: Minimum 2.0
• Scholarships are open to all applicants, with first consideration going to Manvel High School applicants.
