Dr. William A Brookshire Engineering Design Endowed Scholarship

Dr. William Brookshire, veteran chemical engineer, and successful businessman made a donation to the San Jacinto College Foundation to endow a scholarship fund for qualified students majoring in the field of drafting, commonly called Engineering Design Graphics (EDG). Dr. Brookshire chose San Jacinto College to receive his scholarship donation for two main reasons – he attended a community college and the working relationship between the College and S&B Engineering (the company he co-founded in 1967.) Five (5) $1,000 awards are given annually in the fall semester.
