The Barry Klein Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship established in honor of Mr. Barry Klein, for his outstanding service and dedication to the petrochemical industry. Mr. Klein worked at Shell Chemical Company and retired as General Manager of the Deer Park Manufacturing Complex.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant must be pursing a certificate or degree in one of the following areas of study: Process Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Welding or Pipefitting.
• Minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Minimum enrollment in six (6) credit hours.

Guidelines
Each scholarship is an annual award of $1,000 that is disbursed in two equal payments, beginning with the fall term. Recipients’ must continue to meet the scholarship requirements to receive the full disbursement.
