San Jacinto College South Campus - Geology Scholarship

Students who are enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours in the current semester with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher in their academic classes. If the student has been out of school for several semesters the committee will look at the student’s last twelve hours of course work if the GPA is higher. If coming directly from high school, student must have a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Students must have successfully completed or be taking at least one geology course (STEM). If currently taking the first geology course, student must submit a letter of good standing in the class from the professor.
Half of the scholarship will be disbursed in the fall, and the other half in the spring. The student must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the second semester and maintain a GPA of 2.5.
