STAF South Texas Area Facilitators

STAF was founded in 1996 by local Facilitators who sought to build a local networking group. The group began with six members and has since grown to fourteen. STAF has an established charter and guidelines in place.

The organization meets monthly for six hours and switches hosts each month so that each Facilitator can host a meeting. One or two topics are selected each month and discussed at the meeting. Topics include items like: Facilitator Development, Data Analysis, Coaching Strategies, Observation Strategies, Training, Turnaround  Observations, Observations Integrated into the Office and at Home, Milestone Celebrations, Keeping the Process Evergreen, Sustainability Index, Dashboard, Conferences, Management Buy-in and Burn-out Issues.
The companies that currently have members on STAF are:

  • LyondellBasell – Bayport, Channelview, Chocolate Bayou, Houston Refinery, La Porte, Matagorda, Victoria
  • Ineos – Chocolate Bayou, Battleground
  • Marathon – Texas City
  • Mourik – Catalyst, Mechanical, and Industrial Services
